The QuickBooks® Direct Interface lets you export your Deals,
Inventory and Payments directly into QuickBooks®. No more double
entry. No more wasted time and headaches of making sure all the information in
DeskManager is properly reflected in QuickBooks®.
DeskManager's QuickBooks® Interface is perhaps the most popular
add-on module offered by AutoManager. Using the intuitive user interface you can
post your Inventory, deals, assets, liabilities, income and expenses directly
into the QuickBooks® session running on your computer.
When a Deal is worked out, and the inventory item is sold, you can post it into
QuickBooks® with a touch of a button. Your bottom line on the deal
will be accurately reflected in the QuickBooks®. DeskManager keeps
track of your deals, and will only display the deals that need to be transferred.
You can then transfer all the Deals, Payments, Adjustments, and Inventory to
QuickBooks® with a press of a button.
For Buy-Here/Pay-Here dealers, the QuickBooks® interface makes
accounting a fun job. All payments posted to DeskManager will transfer over to
QuickBooks® with no more worries about separation of principal,
interest, late payments or any other adjustments. It will let you select different
accounts for Principal amount, Interest amount, deferred payments, and cash down.
As a result at the end of the day you can find out what the balance is for each
account. DeskManager’s QuickBooks® interface will take care of all
of that for you.
Chart of Accounts is a critical setup in QuickBooks®. DeskManager
will handle all of that for you. With user friendly and powerful account mapping
capability, DeskManager allows you to create your own Chart of Accounts in
QuickBooks® directly from DeskManager. If you already have your
Chart of Accounts defined in QuickBooks® DeskManager can use it
when you map to those accounts in DeskManager. DeskManager lets you have a flexible
account mapping. You can have different asset, expense, or “cost of goods sold”
accounts for different expense categories.
For your convenience DeskManager allows you to have completely different sets of
account mappings based on vehicle type or Location field (a custom field within
DeskManager which is definable by you). You can also create an exclusion list for
selected expense types defined in DeskManager.
You can export cars including the costs of add-ons and reconditioning to
QuickBooks® either one at a time, or DeskManager can display a list
of items that need to be transferred to QuickBooks®. You can tag or
untag the items you want transferred, or better yet let DeskManager keep track of
all items that have been updated and need to be transferred. Push the Export button,
sit back and let DeskManager transfer what's necessary to QuickBooks®.

The QuickBooks Direct Interface does NOT support QuickBooks Online.
