AutoManager Milestones

1984

IMS is established as a computer software service provider specializing in custom applications for the automobile industry.

1987

IMS releases our first accounting application for a wholesale auto auction.

1990

IMS develops our first F&I (Finance and Insurance) system customized for a public auto auction. Demand for our customer-friendly systems grows quickly, providing us with the economies of scale to be the fore-runner in low-cost, high-quality automobile dealership management solutions.

1992

IMS establishes a client base of over 300 dealerships across California.

1994

IMS provides software services nationally.

2000

At the beginning of the year, IMS releases AutoManager 2000, a complete rewrite of the AutoManager application for all Windows platforms. AutoManager 2000 is a true 32-bit Windows application that takes advantage of the built-in functionalities of Microsoft Windows. With the release of AutoManager 2000, the application achieves a newfound popularity among auto dealerships. Sales of AutoManager reach record-breaking levels with steady growth continuing ever since.

2004

Coinciding with the company's official name change to AutoManager, Inc., the flagship AutoManager software is renamed to DeskManager.

2005

AutoManager releases its long-awaited Online Vehicle Marketing System called WebManager. With the addition of this new product, AutoManager differentiates itself from its competition by offering sophisticated marketing tools for the dealer community.

Today

AutoManager's products are in use by over 3000 clients in all 50 states of the U.S. and several Canadian provinces. Our software services provide full support for every state in the U.S., including all DMV legal forms and contracts at no extra charge.
