DeskManager Demo Installation

The following instructions are for downloading and installing DeskManager for the first time. First you will go to AutoManager.com. From AutoManager.com hover your mouse over Support and then click on Download Updates.



On the Download Updates page you will need to enter your Client ID and your phone number and then click Submit.
Next click on Setup.exe.



Once Setup.exe finishes downloading run it. The first window will tell you that you will be installing DeskManager. Click Next.



The next screen is the License Agreement screen. Our license agreement is written out on the screen. You can also print the license agreement by clicking Print. Before you can install DeskManager you need to accept the terms of the license agreement. Once you’ve accepted the terms, click Next.



Next the wizard will ask you what installation type of DeskManager you would like to install. You want to choose “Install DeskManager Version 11.xx” then click click Next.



Next you have to determine where to install DeskManager< on your computer. By default we will try to install DeskManager to C:\DeskMan. If you click Browse you can install it to another location on your computer. We strongly advise that you do not install DeskManager to Program Files. After you determine where you are going to install DeskManager click Next. If you choose a location that does not yet exist the wizard will ask if you want to create the folder. You will want to click Yes.



The next screen notifies you that you are about to install DeskManager and that if you need to make any changes to the options you selected earlier you can do that by clicking back. To proceed simply click Install.



DeskManager will then install itself. When it is complete it will notify you that you installed DeskManager. Click Finish.



If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may get a message saying that DeskManager was not installed correctly. If you get this message click This program was installed correctly.



DeskManager will then ask you to either register the program or use the demo. To run the demo Click Demo.
