Download and Installation Instructions
  1. General Downloads are available for all clients, with or without current Annual Maintenance.

  2. To check for DeskManager software updates, enter your Client ID and phone number and click on Submit. Your Client ID is printed on your statement, or you can locate your Client ID in DeskManager by clicking on File -> Company Profile.

    • If the Client ID or phone number you enter is not valid, you will receive the following error message:
      Invalid Client Data

    • If your Annual Maintenance has expired, you will receive the following error message:
      The Annual Maintenance on your software has expired. To continue receiving updates and toll-free technical support, please contact AutoManager Sales at 1-800-300-2808.

  3. Once you submit your Client ID and phone number and your Annual Maintenance is current, you will see two additional file lists. The DeskManager Software Updates list will usually contain only one file, named xx_update.exe, where xx is your two-letter state abbreviation. The DeskManager Module Updates list will always contain ofac_update.exe, and may also contain updates for any additional modules you may have purchased.

  4. Click on the filename for the update you want to download, and your system will display a dialog box asking you whether you to run or save the file. We recommend that you save the file in case you need to run it again.

  5. If you choose to save the file, your system will display another dialog box asking you where you want to save it. To avoid cluttering your Desktop, we recommend that you create a folder for DeskManager updates and save your downloads in this folder. When you download updates with the same filename, you can safely delete or overwrite any older files you saved previously. You should only need the latest version of the updates.

  6. To install any update, locate the file you downloaded, double-click it to run it, and follow the instructions on your screen.
